Addressing three priorities – learning, leadership and community – the RCF is focused on supporting innovative work with an emphasis on wellness, the environment and underserved populations.

In January 2023, the Royal College Foundation (RCF) launched the Canadian Aid and Action Fund (CAAF) program, a grant that supports Fellow-led projects in the following areas:

Postgraduate medical education & specialty training development

Fellow-led projects have been making significant impacts internationally for years via the Royal College’s International Development, Aid, and Collaboration (IDAC) funding program facilitated by Royal College International.

The Royal College continues to change the lives of individuals through IDAC, which is now active in over 16 countries supporting health profession education and local capacity. With the RCF, the Royal College continues this tradition on the domestic front by providing grants that further support innovation, growth and positive change.
